Rihanna Race Scandal Dutch magazine Photos: It’s been a tough week for pop princess Rihanna. The “S&M” singer is at the center of a race scandal that has rocked a Dutch magazine.

The publication, titled Jackie referred to RiRi as “the ultimate ni— b—h” in an article published this week. Jackie apologised to the singer on their Facebook page after readers expressed their outrage, but clearly that wasn’t enough for the 23-year-old songstress.

On Monday, she tweeted a message aimed at the magazine’s editor, saying:

“I hope you can read English, because your magazine is a poor representation of the evolution of human rights. I find you disrespectful, and rather desperate. You ran out of legit, civilized information to print.”

Rihanna later added:

“There are [thousands] of Dutch girls who would love to be recognized for their contributions to your country. You could have given them an article. Instead, you paid to print one degrading an entire race. That’s your contribution to this world: to encourage segregation, to mislead the future leaders and to act in the past.”

But RiRi’s outrage didn’t stop here, with one final, angry stab: “On behalf of my race,” she wrote: “Here are my two words for you: F— YOU!”

Jackie editor, Eva Hoeke, has resigined over the racial slur incident “because of the enormous pressure from social media.”

In a statement she said the magazine’s choice of words was a “bad joke-to say the least” and “should never have happened. End of story.”

“Previously, I offered rectification. As I now come to the conclusion that rectification is not the right solution, I am departing. I hope that you all believe there was absolutely no racist motive behind the choice of words. It was stupid, it was nave to think that this was an acceptable form of slang.
